I have an Audi 100 1990 into which I would like to drop the biggest diesel engine I can find. Does anyone here have any experience doing engine swops? If so what are the things I should make a note of? Im guessing that the 2.5Tdi would fit without too much effort as the A6 into which this engine is most commonly inplanted is basically an Audi 100. Thanks for your ideas

 

if it fits than the 2 things to consider are fuel delivery and fuel system and wireing harneses ... transmission also most likely will need to be swaped
