Default 2.8 12vPerformance

ive posted a while ago about some possible performance options for the 12v V6...one i was interested in was a 30v head swap... but ive never seen it done...is it really as simple as bolting them on?...and if anyone has any other advice or things theyve done for performance, or maybe some web links...anything appreciated...

ye, but think about the cost versus gain.
there is minimal gain. It be cheaper to put Cold Air intake, new headers and new flow through resonators and muflers.
this should give the same gain like 20HP

the only place that made headers does not make them anymore. they were too expensive for most people. im sure someone is capable of making some of their own.

i have a better air intake setup. if you would like more info on it feel free to email me. The best way to go is to have your throttle body ported out. the primary venturi is the big restriction. also the MAF. but only MAF's with #s ending in 471A can be modified. yes, a new exhaust will help make the car sounds better.. i went with a catback system from Stebro. i am happy with the sound. You can have any shop make you a system. Just have them use stainless steel if you want it to last. I would suggest good hi flow cats by catco. you could even do one large one to eliminate the two small ones. i would suggest either brullen, scorpion, magnaflow or remus for exhaust. but im not saying they are the only good ones out there.

other things you could do would be cams. but the best increase will be from the throttle body and MAF. You could always p&p the heads, doing the runners on the intake manifold etc but its all gonna depend on what you want.
