Hi everyone. I recently got a 1980 Audi 4000s with only 120,000km on it. It was a gift for a late aunt. I need a front coil spring for this car and I am having trouble finding one. Is there any other models Audi or VW that will work with this year? Anyone know where to find a spring new or used? Thanks

You can call shokan, an Audi specific wrecker, at 1800-all-Audi. That's where I got mine used for my 5k. Or try a want ad on motorgeek.com or any classic Audi forum. Also found a refurb'd gas tank at shokan. Huge inventory! Good luck

Thanks. We just picked up a VW FOX. Now we just have to swap over the front strut assemblies and the car will be on the road.
