85' 4000s quattro starting prob

Default 85' 4000s quattro starting prob

everthing electrical switches on including the fuel pump which i replaced. we also replaced the starter because we thought that was the problem. but even with the new starter it will not start. the solienod will not even click. we checked the wires going to the starter adn they were corrodied and we are replacing those. but I NEED HELP I HAVE NO CLUE AND I NEED THIS CAR TO RUN FOR THE WISCONSIN WINTER PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

whats the possibility of that being the problem? and wat else could it be? another question wat qauge is the wires going to teh startre?
thanks for the help

i have orderd the ignition switch and exposed it in the steering column, but im unsure of how to remove it? help please

I just have to mention checking the fuses. My '84 didn't start and it took me a long time to figure out that a "friend" removed what he thought to be a "spare" 10 amp fuse, The fuse was located in the spare bank but it is functional, worth the 90 seconds to check it...

the ignition switch is a biach .. wire in a push button start

i'll second that push button start... the new switches break pretty easily from what i've heard as well.

I like my push button, it adds even more character to my 87
