Default 95 Audi 90 sport Quattro mods.

Hi guys. I want some ideas about what I could do to my new Audi 90. It's a sport Quattro 2.8L, 5spd. Any technical performance mods I can do???? Could I swap a 2.7L bi-turbo??? Or can I just work with this engine? Just throw in some ideas please! Any websites? Thanks. Hadrian

The turbo conversion requires at least 100 hours labor, and good used turbo engines are costly because everyone wants one for a conversion. There is an amazing amount of metal cutting and fabrication necessary to make room for the turbo and intercooler in our model Audi. You will be out five figures in no time.
2Bennet Audimotive has a way cooler conversion that at most will set you back $4500. They fabricate a custom cradle and install a 4.2 l V-8 from an A8. This weighs 75 pounds less than any of the five bangers and makes 300hp in stock form. Use the correct factory emissions contols for that engine and you will probably make it past the smog referee, essential to do if you wish to register the car. 2Bennett has done a bunch of these for track cars and is doing one right now for a customer who is going to try to register it in California. Andrew Bennett is not concerned. They expect the Cal EPA referee to ok their work. Cal EPA is as tough as it gets, maybe tougher than Germany's TUV. For a street car a nice low stressed V-8 with all that torque and less weight to boot out to due just fine.
