First timer, so please bear with me.
I have a 95 Audi V6 Quatro and a minute after I start it the temp light flashes. The temp gauge rises slowly but does not stop rising. I get no heat from the heater and if I let it go too long the coolant will burst out of the cap. I think it is the T- stat but I can not find it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

this should help you a lot although its for the timing belt it also tells you where the pump is.

the termostat can be changed without replacing timing belt, or removing it.
