hey guys,
i have 1987 audi 80 1.8 automatic. i dun have any original documents of the car mentioning what my car is equiped with. i am confused as i dun know all the features. also the car was badly maintained by the audi ppl here in mumbai ( bombay) india. many electricals were cancelled by these perple. i want to get my car back to its original state. how do i get to know the original features of may car. there are wierd fuse names on the fuse box in the bonnet writted in german . i really cannot figure out whats written.
can anyone help me out.

The 87 4000 (US version of the 80) didn't have too many bells and whistles when compared to the 100/5000 models. I am not sure what could be causing the confusion. If you are concerned about restoring your 80 and nursing it back to the original condition I suggest that you find an original service manual. Otherwise you will find it impossible to work on your car.
