Default Details about Engine Trouble

Maybe if I detail the problems my engines im having, maybe we all figure out what it is. This car does not want to idle. Whenever I go to brake for a stop, the engine seems to go below( down to 1000,1500) when normally it would go down propotionally with the engine. If I do not keep my foot to idle it manualy it will vibrate at about 800 to 300 rpm and either stuter and die or stutter and get back up to pace if I add the gas.I also have to manually idle it imediately after it started and it wll not start without the gas going down to catch one of the starting stutters. If it does stall out it wont start for s couple minues and only after I push the car in nuetral and put the hood up and leave the drivers door open ( maybe just a ritual).

Whats wrong with my engine guys ?

Nice cleaning after and its back to its old self. Thanks NH. I did have a slight stutter that I had to catch going down the stret but it went strong after that. When I was cleaning it out there was a small chunk of black carbon greasey thing but I QTip"d the inards and pthe spring in the position I found it.

Nice advice man. The next step is the headlights..
