My blower motor never blows hard through the vents, it dose heat the car but it takes a while. the blower motor works on the low and high positions (changes "Sound Louder" on high. is there a flapper I need to Check? oh its a 87 5000 S Quattro.

As I remember there is a POT that controles the spead ofthe mottor. like mine has 4 on and 1 off. each you select makes it work more or less. the blower it self has only 2 wires coming to it.

Maybe it does not select from which hole to blow. like both window legs get air but you cant change them to blow front.

 

Common problem, the back-feed potentiometer wears out with time, replace the flap servo and adjust the internal potentiometer according to the instructions in manual..
