heater/idle ? and diff locks mod
Hey everyone I haven't posted on here in ages but figured Id take the opportunity to ask a question and show everyone my modified diff lock controllers. Vehicle is a 1988 audi 5000 CS TQ.
First off my heater controller, when heat is on, makes my idle "linger" after I depress the clutch to shift gears. It takes longer for the rpm's to lower to the rpm of the next gear if that makes sense? I removed the AC belt and removed the item in front of the radiator so the system is no longer sealed. I haven't disconnected any wiring from the compressor yet though. I was just wondering if anyone encountered this? I'd be very grateful for some advice.
Secondly, I wanted to show off my weekend project of taking my diff lock controller from my donor car to control just the center locker. Locking only the rear didn't have the effect I'd hoped though. Enjoy the pic and thanks for reading.
