Help!

Hey guys Hope someone can help me on this...I have a 89 Audi 90 quattro with an 88 NG engine in it. The damn thing wont stay running. If the car sits all night I can start it but it will not stay running. I have to keep the revs high ( between 40 and 60 on the tach) and it will run for about 5 min and then it just stalls. The gas pedal is of no consequence when it starts to stall. Then it will start and stall numerous times before not even starting again. This is driving me crazy! I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel regulator, cold start valve, distributor, coil w/amp, wires, plugs, battery and alternator. It seems like it just gets starved for gas or it gets turned off electrically.I checked that it has fuel up to the fuel distributor. It doesn't seem like it is the injectors because when it does start and revs it doesn't spitter or sound like it is missing. I sure hope someone can help and point me in the right direction.I'm losing my mind!
