Help with 198x audi 5000 cs n/a
I just got a broken down Audi 5000 from a family friend for free as my first project car. I'm pretty sure it is a 1986 and I also am a little confused because I thought all CS were turbo'd. Anyways I am just a little curious about a few things.
How do you open the sunroof on this car?
Do you guys know of any special places to buy tail lights/ other body parts for this car besides ebay and amazon?
Where does the battery go?
I daily drive a 1998 jeep and this car has a longitudinal front wheel drive engine set up plus a weird radiator. So, I am all kinds of lost and would love the help if I can get any. Thanks guys.

Battery goes under the rear passenger seats. Should be two bolts holding down the rear seat cushion. Are you trying to manually open the sun roof? Switch failed etc.?
Insert a screw driver at left side edge of interior light. Look up inside past the bulb holster toward the roof of the car beyond the headliner. There will be a screw that is holding the switch housing to the cars shell. Remove that. Gently pry the housing out of the headliner and pull the cover down. There's a black release lever shaped like an allen wrench on the sunroof motor. Swing it clockwise in the direction of the arrow. There also should be a crank handle in the cover. Insert it into the hexagonal hole. Turn the crank and it should open and close the roof. Look in the owners manual if you have one on pg 52. Let me know how it turns out.

Thanks man. I haven't been by the car for a while because my parents are being sticks in the mud, but as soon as I can get the car to my house and start making some progress I'll let you know how it goes. Also I found out about the battery and just never edited post sorry and my brother found me some aftermarket tails for the car on ebay. Thanks everyone though I will start a build thread on this car once I get it to my house and have a job.
