HELP audi 100 td HELP
Hello. I have Audi 100 turbodizel, 1987 year. 2.0L, 64kW(87HP), motor DE, 5.cyl, automatic climate control (ACC), servo, ABS... I am very satisfied with it, for it is really great ride and above all very reliable. I had some fixings about it but there are still few problems that I cannot work out. First thing is its working temperature. It is between 96-102 degrees celsius. Due to ACC this car has two radiators, main (on the left side, cooled by fan) and auxilliary (placed frontaly to be cooled by air). This auxilliary radiator is a new one, but not original. It is made in local factory by the measures of the original one (it was leaking a lot so I had to replace it). Before replacement, temp was going to about 98C and then it would drop down to 92C. Now, after replacement, it raises to about 95-96 and it walks between 96 and 102C (when overloaded). To mention that gauge measures the temp of the coolant. It is G12 original VAG coolant. I don't know what was the old radiator made of, but new one is made of brass copper.
Other thing is noise that comes out from motor. Mechanic said it is not motor but bosch pump and something about it. It sounds like hiting metal or something like those old hand-field-pumps for water (blookblookblook...). What could it be?
