1993 Audi 100CS - 75,000 miles.

my emissions control system light came on a few days ago... now, my car shakes when idling, something rattles for a few seconds when i try to accelerate - it doesn't want to accelerate, and my car is going through a tank of coolant every day... i can't get into the audi dealer till wednesday, but i'd like an idea of the problem before then... please help!

 

If you are losing preston, i would suggest you NOT drive to take the car. You could overheat the engine block. If this happens the engine could seize. Or make some permanent damage to the internal parts.

Air in the prestone would make your engine drive like crap.
