Question Idle Control Valve

Does anybody run their car with the ICV electrical connection unplugged (preferable answer being yes in replies)? Or better yet does anybody know if it is harmful to the valve to do such?

Default why

do these valves have to be so temperamental? I replaced my older one that blew out the diaphragm with a used one and cleaned it but it runs like my original part did when the power is cut to it. Its strange

Thumbs up thanks for the reply

and ya it keeps the idle steady as long as you adjust the idle via the scew over the throttle body to the 725 +/- 50 rpm mark (factory setting). The cold starts kind of struggle with lower rpms for about 20 seconds but it is pretty effective when unplugged.
