Offramp told me where the **** was to adjust the lights on the dashboard, thank you for your help. But the owner before me I guess remove the **** and the adjustment pot from the dash itself. Guess thats why i could not find it, it was no longer there. Having no luch at all finding a replacement part. Would anyone have one or have can give some guidance on a resistor that i could start with installing. It looks like there are 2 post there that i should be able to connect the resistor to and the lights should work, kind of guessing.

How do you know that the potentiometer is missing maybe it is just the stem that broke off, did you pull the gauge cluster out?

 

Yes i pulled the cluster out. Nothing there but 2 metal post and a little wheel that looks like the reostat sat on.

 

They are prone to burning out I think you sould be able to get one at alocal junkyard or a new one. Give blauparts.com a call.

I've got one...two actually. piece of cake to put in. As far as the wheel you see on the back...you have a picture of that? On the three clusters I have there is no wheel. Anyway, shoot me an e-mail so I can get this down to you.

edited for inaccuracy...should be able to get **** out (if it's there) without taking cluster apart
