Hello everyone,
I just yesterday bought a 1990 coupe and am also a first time audi owner. I'm hoping a few of you might be able to help me for I live in a small town Iowa where a specialized indy is not available. I am fairly mechanically inclined as a own an older BMW and have completely rebuilt it. But, of course, this isn't a BMW. The two things I know are this:
1. When the old owner said he would be driving and downshifted and accelerated a large billow of blue smoke would leave the exhaust. He said this was only when driving, never at start up.
2. The fuel pump needs to be replaced
3. The brakes are rusted
Can anyone point me in the right direction and possibly a DIY. Thank you all very much.
