I bought the car just this monday for $250.
The previous owner thought the transmission had died on him so he got halfway thru taking out the transmission and then realized it was the clutch. but we've figured out its the hydraulics for the clutch.
the car. is EXTREMELY dirty. needs a good detail, massive tuneup and transmission put-back-together.
but all in all. its gonna be a fun car to rebuild.
needs some new seats and lights also...
Driver:
Driving thru in n' out

day we picked her up:

yeah. he left an extra transmission in the trunk. along with a header and a few other pieces.

today after a small shower. no soap. no anything. just to knockoff the dirt so we could get to work.

so im trying to decide whether or not to keep theblack door protector strips on, or off. on theright side ive got them offcause they were all worn off and beaten to crap.
all in all igot the car for $250 andmydad andI are planning to fix it up and repair everything and turn it into a better car.
hopefully.

*Sorry for double post*
get it running for starters. lol..
no but really. get it running is first. its about 99% done. all i need is some sheet metal to sandwich inbetween the firewall for added strength. just so the firewall doesnt crack again.
Ive driven it without a clutch already, just start it in gear and no stopping or shifting.
its pretty cool so far. yeah. plans are shocks, and stuff to do with handling, then straight pipe exhaust or something like that. it depends on my money condition
