Don't know about a4 but I love my apr flash for my 2.7T s4. Huge power gains and have had no problems with tranny or anything else since install about 10k ago

Yeah I was reading about the APR ecu for the 97-01 1.8T.. It is incredible power gains... That is the computer I will be buying within a month or so.. So far what I read on it, the computer should be completely compatible with the stock tranny and stock turbo specs...

I used APR to chip tune my 04 GTI and the gain was great plus I was able to use my laptop after that to tune it myself within limits of the turbo of course.

You dont need injectors for an apr stage 1 ecu flash. I have it on my 99.5 a4 1.8tqm. Good gain on power. Exhaust helps a bit.
