Hi i need help on this car,

the car stopped few weeks ago,and we since have replaced with new fuel pump,thinking this was problem,but its not,car is trying to start,it takes several turns of key,and when it does fire it dies instantly,i have checked fuel and its coming all the way to the fuel rail with presure,it does not appear to be reaching the injectors,these are electric,so any ideas welcome,it seems to me,that there is something somewhere de activating them,or something simple like a fuse or relay hidden somewhere!!!i have noticed a vacum pump that goes from fuel rail to accelarator housing and has vacum hose,i took this apart,but not sure if this is problem or can it be tested,i have spent hours at it and still cant solve it,so all suggestions very welcome,very confused and fed up!!!
