Default ? on chipped tiptronic a4

I have a 1999 tiptronic a4 with the giac chip. It says its suppose to put your rev limiter to 7100, but even with the chip its shifting at 6000-6200. If i put it in tiptronic it will shift at like 6500-6700. Anyone have any experience with this?

Shift points and rev limiters are 2 different things. You need a separate tranny program to change your shift points to make the most of your new raised rev limit.
