Default computer reflash

I'm posting for my friend, trying to find him an open source tuning program. He has an 02 a4 1.8t. I have a Subaru so I have a Cobb Accessport v2 and know of several open source tuning programs. I have the OBD II to USB that came with it, so a few of my friends are going to use it to do an open source tune the problem is i can't find any maps or programs for audi. do you have any suggestions?

I am coming from the evo world and we can use ecutek or ecuflash along with evoscan to scan and reflash the ecu to adjust timing, boost, afrs, valve timing, and so on.

Is there a program that you can adjust the computer with by yourself?

I am from Utah. Is the program that you mentioned a free one? If not that doesn't bother me just curious. Can you log and flash with that one program? where do you download it?

Yes it is free, and I actually don't know too much about the program. I will be familiarized with it sometime next week. Post about it on Audiworld.com there are some audi veterans on there who know a lot more than I do.

Lol sounds good to me. I really dont want to settle for just a chip because it is most definitely not the same. If there is not a way to reflash and adjust what standalones are there for the cars?

you all were asking for a free one right? There is another way but it is expensive and APR usually keeps it dealer/shop exclusive. Give them a call about it and see if they will sell it to you. Plus you're going to need to have a program called ECU Explorer. I will get back to you on the other program soon.

Yeah one that is free. What is ecu explorer?? I have heard about apr and revo technik. But i just like the idea of a tuning program rather than a chip. Thanks for the help.
