Fuel Evaporating?
Hi,
The problem my friend is experiencing is a s follows;
Vehicle = 1987 Audi 80 5cyl
The vehicle starts and runs fine for about an hour, after which it appears to be out of fuel and will not start.
If it is left off for around half an hour it will start and run fine again.
The fuel pump has been tested for pressure, the lines have been checked for leaks, the fuel filter has been replaced just in case.
It would appear that the fuel distributor gets too hot, the temperature 60deg C.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I must point out that I am not the owner of the vehicle so any reponses I get I will forward to my friend and repsond as soon as I can.
Thanks in advance.
