Impossible issue 2012 Q5
HI,
I have a 2012 Q5 with 133K ( my baby ) and have been having a strange issue for about a year. My Audi guy who is great has not been able to diagnose it. Here is what I have observed.
- Check engine light keeps going on and reports misfires on all cylinders
- Car occasionally won't engage on start up unless you jab the gas. This seems to ONLY happen when the outside temp is over 60 degrees ( ?) This problem did not happen all winter and as soon as the temp went over 60, check engine popped back on and problem started again. It was also happening a lot last summer. It seems to run rough for about ten minutes.
- This car has always seemed to burn more oil than seems normal. Not a big deal, I just always keep some in the trunk but it seems like the car has this problem when it is Lower on oil ? Maybe not related. IDK.
I'd really like to drive this car to 150K or more. Hoping to get to the bottom of this !
