Default a question about speedtuning?

how many people here got speedtuning? i was also wondering how they tuned your ecu? when i went to the one in maryland he pulled out the chip and hooked it up to his computer typed a couple times and was done. after talking to some guys at the closest revo dealer they said that tuning that way is bad. i was just wondering if it really was are if it is a sale point of view for them.

no they are right that is not tuning at all. it is just putting a pre programed chip in your computer to do the air and fuel management. which basically does the same thing as tuning just not as percise.
