Audi Commwealth, Sanna Ana Ca.
You have got to be kidding me!! Commonwealth is the first dealer I went to and I actually talked with Darko... the guy with the German or Dutch accent... what a horrible sales man. I'm not a mean guy and I don't usually like to bag on anyone, but this guy has got to be a joke. He knew nothing about any of the cars!! I wanted to look at the engine and he insisted he pop the hood and it seriously took 5-7 minutes for him to find the release. I asked him simple questions, like "What are some available options for the A4?" and his response was a brief pause, a slight shrug, and "I'm not really sure... I'll have to get someone else to help you on that." I mean come on!! You could at least guess the obvious ones like an upgraded stereo or leather or moon roof!!
I actually did buy my car from this dealer, but I highly recommend going through the fleet department and directly to the sales manager. Get all your info and specs you want for the car and FAX THEM!! Otherwise you will go through hell... and don't get your car serviced here. They only have one service rep and she doesn't know what she's doing either. Go to Newport Audi.

I walked in there looking for an A3...they had two 07's and two sales guys were about as interested in selling me the car as they were in getting a colostomy. All they could tell me is that those two were all they had, and they weren't willing bargain on the price one bit. MSRP or leave....so i did.
I've come to realize that if you go into any german luxury car dealership you need to be dressed nice or drive in a nicer car than what your trying to buy. otherwise you'd better know what you want, i've found generally i end up knowing more about the car i buy than the dealers that sell them. Darko helped me out, he, like some else said wasn't an A4 expert, but i think he found the hood latch with some ease. Anyways, i didn't end up getting my car from him but he seemed very helpful and somewhat knowledgable, i ended purchasing from mike at hoehn audi in carlsbad, now you want to hear a accent this guy defintely was from germany, great vowel pronunciation, aaauuuudi.
I delt with Darko too. He was very helpful and I was in and out of the dealership in about an hour.
I'm more interested to see how the service department is since I have to take it in to get it serviced soon.
btw, i definately wasnt dressed nice nor did I come in a nice car. I traded in a 1986 420sel.
