Beverly Hills Audi, CA
When my wife and I were planning to buy our Audi A4, we ended up going to Beverly Hills Audi on Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills, CA for two reasons. One, it was the closest to us, and two, because we used the AAA no-hassle price program, and BH Audi was the Audi dealer in the area that participated.

I must say that before we even drove over there, I was expecting them to be somewhat snobbish since it was in Beverly Hills. When we drove by, we passed up the place at first, then finally found it. It's a pretty small place, and shares the lot with BH Porsche. The lot itself is filled to capacity with Audis and Porsches, and I would say that it had about 25 Audis and Porsches in the lot, with about 2 Audis and 4 Porsches inside on display. It looked pretty small, but we were told later thatmost oftheir inventory is in a garage across the street.

When we parked in the lot, we were ready for the snobbery to begin. We had an appointment with Solomon Arvatz, and as soon as we met him he was extremely personable, and made us feel at home with no pressure. I have been car buying before, so I know what salesmen are like when they really want a sale, but I did not get the usual saleman type impression from him. He asked us what our interests were, and asked what in particular we were looking for. We were pretty prepared, so we already had a car in mind. There were many points where he probably could have convinced me to get some option that I would regret having got later, but he did not take advantage of those opportunities. He looked on the computer to see if the car we wanted was available, but there was only one in the whole state with exactly what we wanted on it. This was a Saturday, and he explained that if we wnated that car, he could probably get it to us byMonday at the latest since the car was in NoCal. We decided to test drive an A4 that was equipped the same, but it was Black ext./Beige leather int. which was a different color on the exterior and interior than what we were looking for. He first offered to let us drive the car for the weekend and see how we liked it, but we requested to drive it then instead. We drove the car, and I was very impressed. As soon as I saw the Black/beige, I fell in love with it and soon forgot the color that I intended to get, but he never pressured us to take that car. We ended up actually taking the car that day and financing through Audi Financial which actually gave us 2% lower than any other place. The price was no haggle $900 over dealer invoice which was right at our target price. We were even able to get a little more out of our trade in than we originally thought.

When we went to write up the paperwork, I expected the contracts guy to start trying to sell all the extra warranties and undercoating and butt-scratchers that were available, but all he did was mention them and ask if it was something we're interested in. When I replied no, he just moved on. After the contract was signed, I mentioned what I expectedd him to do when we walked in, and he explained that they had a no-hassle/no-pressure policy, and that they will not try to push something on people that they do not want.

All in all, I would highly recommend Beverly Hills Audi. Even though they have some very expensive cars on their lot, and they are in Beverly Hills, they are not snobbish at all, they don't pressure you into buying things that you don't want. They give good prices, are very flexible and helpful, and want to make sure that you have the car that you want, not the car that they want you to have.

Just wait until you have to deal with the BH service department. If your experience is even close to mine you will refer to them as:
A) Keystone Cops
B) Booger Picking Morons
C) Clueless at the Dealership
or
D) All of the above.
Correct answer is D.
It's amazing how nice a dealership is when they want your money. Once they have your money and you are locked into the contract they have no problem kicking you around like a red headed step child. Just pray that idiot Mario Ramirez does not work there anymore. Last I checked he was the service manager.
Seriously, shop around for the best service department. BH is so busy they just want to get you in and out, and I’m not talking hamburgers here, always a rushed job with about a two week wait before they can see you. I walked into the Santa Monica service department today and was able to speak to two different mechanics about a brake problem. And Santa Monica has less than a five business day wait to service your vehicle. This is something I would have NEVER been able to do at BH.
Beverly Hills…Smeverly Smhills.
The milks gone bad my friends.

I will never go to BH again. I bought from them which was a decent experience but their service department is really pathetic.
They will not return your calls.
They will not answer their phones.
I had an incorrect odometer reading put on my invoice. This might have been an oversight but it managed to require me to pay for an oil change.
Stay away....

I deal w/ Solomon also when I was shopping for my Cars.
First I got an offer from Keyes Audi which is selling the car @ invoice price to me, and I forward the offer to Solomon and ask if he can beat it.
Solomon said I will not sell any of my car below invoice price, and the price they offer you at other dealer is fake. Also, if I decide to buy for more than invoice then he will help me out on it.
Solomon would not even do a search for me about incoming vechicle in their lot in the next 2months until I agree to pay for more than invoice. wtf???
Eventually I got my A4 in Rusnak Pasadena, by paying MSRP out the door price. MSRP = PRICE I PAID OUT THE DOOR. That is $800 below invoice.
So, I would not recommond anyone to buy cars from Beverly Hill!

I absolutely agree with all the negative postings – dealership has terrible service andunethical rude staff. It's impossible to turn the car back in, they are basically kicking you out of the dealership if you are not planning to purchase another vehicle right away. One of thesales people in Beverly Hills Audi – Richard Lee, who can outperform any crook on the block waspromoted to Sales Manager... Stay away!
