Default Nalley Audi service - Roswell, GA

I am a new Audi owner. I bought an 02 A6 from an independent dealer rather than any Audi dealership. I took the car to Nalley in Roswell for some warranty work since the warranty was scheduled to expire about 3 days later. This was the best service experience I have ever had. The service advisors were very courteous and professional. A part needed to be ordered (no big deal since I was traveling on business most of the week and didn't need the car) so it took a couple days. They called me on my cellphone each day to update me and let me know other things about the car the found. It turns out that I happened to get a good solid vehicle with no issues. I highly recommend their service department if you are in need of dealership service.

man you were lucky, I took my 2000 a4 there for a new trans and clutch and they were blowing me off. I am not pleased with their performance at all.

I use Dan or Becky,, They recently got a new service manager. I don't know about him yet. Don't buy there. They can't keep a sales or manager staff. Jim Ellis in Marietta is your best bet on sales.

+1 on the "don't buy there" advice. I found the salesman we dealt with to be a real a$$...bought my S4 elsewhere even though Nalley Audi is just around the corner. I am encouraged to hear that its service department may be good though. That would be very convenient.

Alright...time for an update. Based on the information regarding Nalley's service department, I dropped my S4 off to have a check engine light issue dealt with as well as having 25k servicing and a faulty glove box door dealt with. I was extremely pleased with my dealings with them. Everyone was courteous and competent. They provided a loaner (a canary yellow '04 S4 6-spd) and got the work done in a reasonable amount of time (the check engine light was caused by a faulty purge valve, evap cannister, and a cut evap hose, the last of which required a part to be overnighted). Throughout the process they kept me informed with regular phone calls, and the only cost I incurred was for the evap hose (which was damaged when a corded tire started to come apart on the freeway a few weeks ago...a freak occurence).

I also began to rethink my initial opinion of the sales side of the dealership while I was there. The salesman we dealt with before was still there, and was still an *** (didn't seem to recognize me and my daughterat all...didn't even say hello when walking past me on the showroom floor), but everyone else was pleasant, polite, and willing to help. From complimentary bottles of water and fresh made designer coffee for meto balloons and jolly ranchers for my daughter, they seemed pretty motivated to keep us happy despite the fact that I was there just to get my car serviced...a car I had bought somewhere else.

So while I am still happy with the decision to by my S4 elsewhere, I was very happy to find that Nalley Audi is not only close to where I live, but also a pleasure to deal with.

The only downside to the experience is that the 6-spd loaner car made me seriously reconsider my decision to get my car with tiptronic...the 6-spd really transforms this car from a competent GT to a real sports car. On the other hand, I am still satisfied with my color choice (brilliant silver) vs. the color of the loaner (canary yellow)...I mean, the yellow was bold and all, and it was easy to find in a dark parking lot, but I think the silver addsto the sleeper effect of the S4.

I have had dealing with both Nalley and Jim Ellis. I'm please to say that Nalley services will be far greater that Jim Ellis. I don't know about the car buying experiences there since i didn't purchase from either. I like the loaner program there whichdoesn't effect my daily schedule.

Just bought an A8L there within the past few weeks and teh experience was great. Although I was dealing mostly with Robert the manager and Andy their finance person was also very great. I would buy from them again. As for service I had them install lojack in my car and a few other things needed to be taken care of and I had a good experience. I will continue to drive the 40 miles to them vs. Jim Ellis as I can not stand that dealership. If I drive in with some of myh other vehicles they will not give me the time of day. I have tried to buy a Porsche and an Audi from them, both very bad experiences.

Well, we bought from Ellis and have had issues with their shop. I need to find an Audi mechanic fast b/c they are taking us to the bank.

Magically after 50K warranty ran out everything's been breaking (or needing fixed).

In 50K miles, no major issues, no need to pay for anything, all we had before 50K was a battery, breaks, speaker, a transmission issue that they claim to not recognize so never fixed and still doesn't work(electronic shift doesn't always like to shift).

I made this spread sheet tonight in under 15K miles, we've paid out $1200 dollars. Luckily (or somewhat) we had an extended warranty. Otherwise, you can tack on another $3000 dollars.

We've had radiator, valve cover, multiple hoses, power steering, an alignment, a 60K recommended service charge at 59K and 5K later at 64K a recommended 70K which they called a 70K but 5K short.

In 10 months, 15K miles it'sseemsveryconvenient for all these things to be going wrong

I'm hoping I can say, today was the last time this car will go to that shop.

I'm hoping to get out in the next 10K before they try to pop a few more $2K fixes on me. I figure if that happens, w/o the extended warranty, I would have paid more for fixes than the amount of the car in the 5th year of our loan.
