Default Is this an ok system to use?

I just got a 2000 A6 2.7T quattro, and it has that rich deep blue pearl color. Its gorgeous, but lots of the acid rain and swirls..

So, This is the system I've used in the past and really liked the results, is this ok? If not ok, recommend me a new system. I don't know much about detailing cars, but I'm wanting to learn.

Note: All the Meguiar's products are applied by applicators and then buffed off with an orbital buffer with a microcloth bonnet.

1. Wash car

2. Meguiar's Deep Crystal System Paint Cleaner

3. Meguiar's Deep Crystal System Polish

4. Meguiar's Gold Class Liquid Wax

In the past I've also used the Meguiar's Professional line #26 Yellow Wax, and Have heard that is better than the Gold Class liquid wax...which is better? Should I completely switch to the professional mirror glaze line? Or a different brand of wax overall? I've also had good luck with mother's cali gold wax.

You may need an abrasive polish to level the paint surface-

Removing etched below surface (Stage Two Corrosion)-
Methodology
•These can be removed by using detailer's clay to remove any hardened surface deposits
•Then using a machine polish ( Optimum Polish, Optimum Compound, Z-PC Fusion Dual Action Paint Cleaner or Klasse All-In-One ) and a cutting (LC Orange or Yellow) foam pad (speed # 4-5.0 ) to level the surface
•Work on a very small area at a time (2-foot x 2-foot) until the polish has run out
•Repeat this process two or three times, as necessary
•Reapply surface protection once spots have been removed.
•If none of the above methods remove the etched water spots consider wet-sanding the paint finish

IMHO that Meguiars stuff is crap.

Are you applying it with the buffer? What buffer do you have? What pads?

Your missing a good step, clay bar. To keep it tip top, I would....

Wash, clay, cut (some kind of abrasive), maybe polish, then wax/seal.

If you are going to use Meguiars get the pro stuff, it's so much better, and you need to have a few different levels of polish/compound. Acid rain is a PITA to remove. It might take removing a lot of clear coat to get it all off. Also a Orbital, will be very hard to get much cut & remove much paint.

After quite a few test on Audi paint, I've found menzerna to be the best & most complete system. But you need a good polisher & pads!
