Proper claying techniques....

This is a great post. I've wanted to clay mine for a while now and I think I am going to as soon as it gets nice enough to wash the car. Thanks for all the great info!

I agree that this is a great post and very useful advice.

On my last US trip I visited a Detailing supply store and they had individual Clay bars for sale. These were about 4 times the size of the Megs/Mothers/etc. Clay bars and I thought that would be a good way to save a heap. They were unbranded and just wrapped in clear plastic wrapping. Fortunately the sales guy pointed out that this product was an "agreessive cut" Clay formulation and did I really need that? The answer was a "no" but I could have got myself into a spot of bother if I had gone ahead and used this on the TT I imagine. Worth being aware there are different grades out there.
