Ok, to be honest I have never gone further than washing a car until i bought the vehicle I currently have. I have read everywhere how important waxing is and picked up some Autoglym wax on a recommendation of the guy at the detail shop. I becan to worry when I realized the label said it was a wax polish. This sounds like it might be slightly abrasive. There is some slight paint damage to my drivers side fender, it looks as if someone used a high speed buffer on the area for too long and severely thinned the paint. Right now it can only be noticed in bright sun or uv lights. Wll this polsih make the damage worse or shoudl ti eb ok if I am gentle when applying it? Ill be applying it by hand.
