2000 a4 cluster replacement digital display gone bad
hi! i have a 2000 a4 and the digital display is going bad. my question is when i get a new cluster will the odometer have my old miles or the miles that are in the new cluster or what?i know everyone is saying something about VAG COM?? what is that ? now after i get hte new cluster do i apsolutely have to get the odometer done or can i jsut get a new cluster plug it in and drive with the new odometer miles??? the programming will be expensive and for the time being i'd rather have my display back than the accurate odometer. PLEASE HELP!!!
