Hi Guys,

I was coming back from London yesterday on a motorway when my digital display went off - the part of the dash where it dispalys MPG etc. The digital part above where it says 'OK' on ignition or displays symbols to let you know you need petrol, water etc all work fine. I have changed the fuses 3 and 5 but to no avail

Any ideas?

The car is an A4 1998 Quattro TDi

 

there is a button underneath the wiper switch that turns that didplay on and off
