I hate to make my first post about a problem, but am I the only one that has had the turn signal stop working? The 4 way emergency flashers work fine, but when I hit the turn indicator, it comes on and stays on, but will not flash. Anyone have any idea where I should start looking?

I've looked too and found no specific answer. Were you able to find anything? My Hazards work, but not signals. I think it's the signal relay, but the dealer keeps trying to sell me the hazard switch w/ relay which is not what i need.
I think it's b/c that is $85 part versus $15 for other relay.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

+1 on my 01 A6. This morning the turn signals stopped working... the blink once and then stop. Local Audi shop said to replace the turn signal switch AND the hazard switch. Anyone had any luck just replacing the turn signal switch? My hazards work fine.

PS - if someone has had experience with replacing the turn signal switch, can they PLEASE post up some direction on how to replace it? I hope to God I don't have to take the entire steering column apart!
