So the other day the "BOMB" with the X popped up....Now my passenger headlights have no low or high beam. Occasionally it'll flicker like its trying to turn on then will die. 1 time I tried to turn the high beams on and it lighted for 3 seconds and then died and never came back on. Driver side is ok btw. Now i've been trying to research and I have some questions. Is there only 1 bulb for high and lows in the 05 A6? which uses a mechanical shield to cover the upper part when lows are on and retracts when high beams are on? & What could my issue be? & how do I know if its the Ballast, Ignitor or resistor which I heard it could be too. Is there a way to test just the ballast and just the ignitor so I don't end up buying parts I don't need? Pleasssse someone help.
