Default 2009 a4 convertible top

Hi all, I’ve been having a problem with my 2009 a4 convertible top. When I pull back on the switch in the center console to lower the top, the top will pop out of the latch at the top of the windscreen and then refuse to move. It stays perhaps an inch from the latch here. Using the switch becomes useless at this point and you have to get out and manually lower the top or place it back in the latch using the convertible top key from the fuse box. Has anyone had this problem/solution? Thanks in advance.

Default Any resolutions?

Hello,
Wondering if you reached any resolution on your convertible top issue? I see lots of posts with people having an issue but no obvious fix.

Thx,
Dan

I found the factory sequence and location of microswitches on Volkspage.net. Look under Technik. I downloaded this onto my audi pen flashdrive, so now it travels with me.

There are a number of potential causes for the problem you're having with your Audi top, and fixing convertible top issues may occasionally be difficult. But here are a few typical explanations which according to my perspective you are facing.
Level of Hydraulic Fluid, Limit switches and sensors, latching mechanism for a hydraulic pump motor,Voltage of Battery, Top Module Convertible Reset.
Seeking expert assistance is a better option for you than listening to advice from non professionals.
