Quick intro, I have a 1997 A4 Quattro 5 spd. When I bought it 3 years ago I got one key, no fob. I'm shopping around for a fob but need to know, is the FCC ID

MZ2 410 819 6 4
or
MZ2 410 819 6 3

thanks a ton, I tried searching the forum but for some reason FCC ID wouldn't come up, figured at least someone had been in the same situation one time or another

 

how about this...could someone with a 1997 A4 Quattro 5 speed open their key fob and check the FCC ID?

 

the fcc of my 98's original key fob was MZ2 410 819 6 3, but i replaced it with a MZ2 410 819 6 4 and it works fine. as long as you reprogram it correctly.
