A4 B5 stereo Line out problems

A4 B5 stereo Line out problems
I need to know what i need to do with the line out connector. I'm installing a aftermarket CD player, i have the non-Bose system with the rear speaker piece of crap amp.
Is this connector just for running this amp, im also planning on running new wires for new 6.5's.
If anyone knows, let me know
