I have a 3.0 A4 that does not always start in the morning. WHen turning the key it has power but does not crank. I have to leave the key in the on position for about 30 minutes for it to work. Almost as if it has to reset something. My local dealer suggested an ignition reader coil. Any ideas

I am having the same problem with my 2004 S4. It seems like sometimes when I move the wheel a little bit while turning the key to start it will work. Have you tried this? Did you try reprograming the key?
