I am a newbie or noob here. I just bought a 2007 A8L W12 (year of manufacture: 2006). The car is an absolute beauty in all senses of the word, however, it's a shame that the BOSE stereo system is not mp3 compatible. The car also has a 6-Cd changer. I searched online for several solutions and one available option is Dension GE51MO2 adapter, but at $420 it is out of my budget.

I am unaware of how things work, so I would appreciate if you could break it down for me. Kindly also let me know the parts that I will be needing.
