Ok, so I just installed my alpine headunit today in my 99 A6... it has the bose concert system, and im just starting to play with the settings on the alpine.

My question is, I noticed that there were 2 seperate subwoofer "system" options on the headunit, and then the adjustable subwoofer level... and after playing with the settings and turning on the "subwoofer system 2" it sounds much louder, with much more bass and much more defined highs and lows.... im just wondering how well the bose speakers, sub and amp hold up, and if Im going to ruin my speakers or even worse, the whole system by running the subwoofer at a higher level such as level 10-12 on a 0-15 scale?

Any advice from someone whole knows bose and alpine much better than me is greatly appreciated!
