Hello, I drive a 2002 A4 1.8t I just got an Alpine IVA-D310 flip out DVD/navigation screen. if i install it in the location of the factory CD player, end up with a bunch of dead space and a small, out of place, looking head unit (due to the size difference of the stock unit and the Alpine). my qeustion is, does any one have any other ideas for where to mount this. or better yet, does any one have any pics of their flip out monitor units placed anywhere in their cars that might ease my worries or give me some idea about the final product. thanks alot.

 

I drive an 01 a6 2.7t. I just sold my Alpine Iva-d300 a couple of months ago. Here is the ebay auction that i sold it under. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5818531492 . It has 1 opened and 1 closed pic if you want to get a better idea of how it will look. I ended up keeping the car so i bought a Pioneer Avic-d1. LOVE IT. This is the 4th in dash tv that i've had in 2 years. Definately my favorite for all of the features and esp the dual din fit. Check out www.pioneerknowsit.com and click on the guy on the left. It shows a D1 in an Audi with dual din dash.

 

Can you please post some pics. Both of your links do not work. I just purchased and A4 and want to install an in dash. Is the Kenwood duoble din the best fit?
