when i put the code into the radio it just keeps going back to safe mode i phoned audi incase i had the wrong code but they gave me the same one i had.thanks

 

So you followed the instructions: hold FM2 and RDS until "1000" shows up and then use 1-4 keys to change each digit respectively, then when your code is in, once again hold FM2 and RDS until SAFE shows up again. Then after a few seconds the radio should come up. I just did it in mine today in fact.
