Audio help...
Hi All.... its good to be an Audi owner again, having tried a few other makes I have come back to Audi...
This is my first post to this forum, maybe someone can help me.
I have a 97 A4 avant, which is fitted the the Gamma CC sound system, Radio and tape only. I want something with a cd player, is there an attatchment for this system, or what other system would fit this car with maybe a cd changer.
Thanks in advance for any help.

RE: Audio help...
Hi and thanks for your answer.... I dont have a changer, and there is no cd control on the head unit, so I am wondering what other head unit I can get to take its place, I really want an Audi system as i think its looks much better.
So I really wanted to know what other Audi system would fit in my car...
Cheers

RE: Audio help...
Hi,
I also am having a similar dilemma. I have an 1997 A4 Estate, in the rear is what I believe is an 8 pin cd changer socket. The head unit is the factory gamma cc radio/tape player and nowhere does it indicate CD changer can be used.
My question is, can I utilise the 8 pin socket in the rear and add a CD changer with this stereo?
Thanks

RE: Audio help...
Hope you get an answer to your question as it could be the help I need too.
I have given up and brought an Alpine CD/MP3 Player, I found a model with a red display so it does not look that out of place, and being MP3 it allows me to have 10 to 12 albums recorded onto 1 disc.
