So i just bought a 2000 audi a4 the other day. I put a cd in and it worked fine. but the last couple days no matter what kind of cd i put in it, it always says cd error. Theres nothing wrong with the cd's itself. so was wondering what i can do?

 

is it CD Changer? try put another CD. i feel this is just cd problem. update to us what happen with another CD.

Mine always said code 3...means the cd player is bad and have to replace it. code 1 and 2 should be something fixable.

 

no its not a cd changer, its the audi bose system. "symphony" or some ****. ive tried like 5 different cds and it keeps showing the same message. I called audi dealer and they want 170 just to look at it. I know in the manual err1 means cd dirty or not installed properly, but i can't get it to work.
