Hi

I have a 2006 Audi B7, it has the bi-xenon headlights with the DRL bulb (not the LED strips) and inside i have seperate switches to enable the "coming home light" and the "enable DRL".

Now this is great and all, but when locking/unlocking the car only the fog lights turn on, i would prefer to change this that the DRL light up and not the fog lights.

will anybody be able to assist with wiring diagrams or any input on how to go about this?

my first thought is to trace the wires from the "enable coming home lights" and see where it goes from there.

 

I think it may be something you can do with the VAG-COM.

 

with lots of research, the only options with VAG looks to be enable/disable and set the duration.

apparently the the cars without the bi-xenon headlights have the low-beam come on aswell, not sure if this is the case
