Okay i have a 99.5 a4, and i want to install the pioneer avic-d3 navigator installed. the only problem is that it doesnt fit like it does on most cars. my car has tha radio on top then a thin part of the trim on the bottom and then the climate controls....how can i make this fit?????

I have an 05 and the Z-1. They're the same size. Tried installing myself based of Pioneer's website leading me to believe it was an exact fit or really close but ulitmately, had to go to CarToys to get a custom mount built. Pretty sweet because it's carbon fiber and matches my trim. Can post some pics of my install if you like....what the hell, I love my s#$# so I'll just post some pics
