Can anyone tell me why my Q5 won't recognize or dial extensions attached to phone numbers in Contacts on my iPhone 4?

All numbers are entered thusly: 1-234-567-8901,2345 where the comma represents a pause. The Audi dials the number correctly, but won't dial the extension.

Any suggestions for a fix?
