Engine Check Light

Default Engine Check Light
I have an Audi A4 and several times the check engine light comes on saying to tighted gas cap. The cap is tightened as much as possible. Anyone have a problem and just replaced the cap vs going through an entire scan of the logistics to find the problem? Thanks, Donna
