my car had a 30 fuse and it kept blowing since my system needs atleast an 80. so i just bought a 100 amp blade fuse today and idk how to get it to fit. this may be a reallly stupid question....

Are you talking about the fuse in the driver's side fuse panel, or the in-line fuse for the power lead to your amp?

Can you be more specific?

I assume you have this type because 80amp is the largest for a car fuse panel? http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/S...id/0/SFV/30046

If so you slide the horizontal prong in 1st then press down.

oh sorry sorry, i wasn't paying attention as i was writing that. The fuse for the power lead to my amp... so yeah it's audio sorry for the confusion

Where was this 30 amp fuse? Where did you run your power wire? The amplifier should have it's own wire going all the way to the battery, with a fuse within 18" of the battery terminals. NEVER go above the amplifier's rated fuse size.
